Races summary
136 Miles From London to Amsterdam
Route information
Day 1: London to Harwich - 83 miles
Day 2: Holland to Amsterdam - 53 miles
Both routes will be along open roads.
On day 1 you'll set out from Trafalgar Square, head through Leytonstone to get to Essex. Once out of London, the route will follow quiet country roads, passing through Writtle and Colchester before ending up in Harwich.
The second day of cycling will be entirely in the Netherlands, starting from the Hook of Holland and finishing at Art Square in Amsterdam.
The Netherlands is notoriously flat, which will make for a more pleasurable ride.
