Route information
The routes follow quiet back roads wherever possible and occasionally cycle paths. The way is signed with day-glo yellow signs featuring a bike and arrow to show the direction.
Refreshment stops and warnings (e.g. steep hills and road junctions) are also signed.
Your route map will show First Aid stops. Call the emergency medical number on the map if you need to and help will be sent straightaway. Every route has point numbers along the way. If you make a note of the one you’ve just passed, this will make it easier to find you.
GPX routes are available after online booking.

Support Vehicles**
Support Vehicles**
The support vehicles always have a Bike Events sign. They follow the route to give you and your bike a lift if you need one. They’ll take you part of the way or to the finish if necessary.
Call the emergency number on your route map (or ask a marshal to call for you) and a support vehicle will come out to you.
Private support vehicles are not allowed on the route during the event, as this could be hazardous for other cyclists and may obstruct emergency vehicles.
