Route information
Day 1 - Friday (65 miles)
After assembling at Carlton House in the heart of London, you will head to Trafalgar Square to officially start your exciting journey. The route will have you travelling towards Brighton, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful countryside enroute as you cycle along quiet, carefully selected roads. The highlight of the day's intinerary is Ditchling Beacon, East Sussex's highest point, after which there will be a more relaxed ride towards Newhaven.
As you ride along the coast, you will experience stunning sea views and white cliffs, and will be able to refuel with a pub dinner before departing on the overnight ferry across the Channel.
Day 2 - Saturday (75 miles)
For the first day of the French leg of the journey, the group will embark early and tackle the gently inclining Avenue Verte track. After reaching the charming Forges-les-Eaux, you will be able to enjoy a lovely breakfast before your ride takes you through several French towns and villages. Immerse yourself in the history of the region as you whizz past monuments and landmarks.
Arriving at Beauvais in the early afternoon, there is free time allocated to explore the buzzing city and its points of interest before recovering for Day 3.
Day 3 - Sunday (50 miles)
The final leg brings riders through stunning vistas of the French countryside before they reach the capital. Sightsee and cycle as you ride past landmarks including the Victor Hugo fountain and Trocadero. There will be plenty of photo opportunities, including when the group reaches the endpoint of the iconic Eiffel Tower.
After completing the ride, participants can celebrate their achievement by enjoying a drink or meal in one of Paris' famous bars and restaurants.
