My second formal event since getting into running, the first being the Cardinham twilight 10k. The Looe 10 miler is a real challenge and great entry into running longer distance. Ill use this run as a comparison to others and hopefully future half marathons

Well it gets five out of five stars if you like steep hills. I cant say i liked it at the time but there was great support and a nice medal at the end.

This race was exceptionally organised. Ample parking although had to pay 2.30. The course was extremely challenging but very scenic none the less. Highly rated

well marshalled but a very tough 10 miler, the hills are steep and long so dont expect a pb. it's best to just enjoy this run and take in the view's. be careful not to go out too fast at the start, although it's very tempting there's alot of climbing to do in the 1st mile. i would say this event is the hardest run on the cornwall grand prix race list.

Freezing cold but beautiful, this is probably one of the most challenging races I've ever done. The hills were relentless, but I really really enjoyed it.

The information before the race was useful (first time running this race).

Standard half marathon. Potential to be a fast course as fairly flat but not the most interesting and the Tarka Trail goes on forever!

Only marked course down as its such a hard race, but so well organised I really enjoyed it. Tanoy system always works so well and such great support out on course, one of best races even though very tough

I was already prepared for the hills! (Im also Cornish...so knew what I was letting myself in for!) fairly new to running, so furthest I have been! Can honestly say would recommend to all abilities. The fact that there was a few treacherous hills only suitable for walking, broke it up a little too. Very scenic too.The Looe volunteers were second to none. Extremely attentative, friendly and supportive. Highly recommend!
