Route information
Fun but challenging. A great obstacle course event suitable for all ages and abilities. If you are capable of running a 10k then you are capable of completing the MacTuff FIFE Spring 5k or 10k!
Challenge yourself, come in a group, rally your team, raise money for a worthy cause. Whatever your motivation the MacTuff FIFE Spring 5k and 10k will provide you with a memorable experience.
Entries come complete with complementary MacTuff bling in the form of an event Tec T shirt and finishers medal.
Free Parking, free for spectators and free photos as always.
The course? It's MacTuff! Expect to get wet. Expect to get muddy. Expect to laugh and curse.
A true test through mud, water and obstacles specially designed to suit all abilities.
5km is a single loop of the course. The 10km is a double loop, meaning you encounter all obstacles twice!

There will be free parking at the event.
By Car
The Knockhill Racing Circuit is easily accessible from the M90 near Dunfermline, or by taking the A91 from Stirling.
By Train
Dunfermline Station is the nearest to the event, approximately 6 miles away.
Event day logistics
Start Time
Wave start times are available from 8am onwards for the 10km and 8:50am for the 5km. All participants will be allocated a specific start wave time.
Age Requirements
This event is suitable for individuals and groups. Minimum age 14.
All participants must be registered as entrants by booking online.
Team & Group Entry
We encourage teams and groups to participate. The more the merrier!
Register with your team, family or friends and take part together.

We encourage fundraising at all MacTuff events. Please checkout out charity partners if you are looking for a worthy cause to fundraise for.
Kit List
Event tshirts are issued to all participants prior to the race on event day. Many people wear those tshirts.
Don't wear cotton - it absorbs water and will make you feel colder and heavier.
Wear man made fabrics such as nylons and polyesters (sport fabrics) which will typically hold less water and dry quicker.
Wear old trainers. Wear new trainers at your peril (they will never be clean again!).
You will get muddy. There are very basic cold water hose down facilities available post event.
Please bring:
- a change of clothes including shoes/trainers
- old towels
- large bottles of water to help you get clean
- wet wipes to help you clean
Spectator Info
Spectators are more than welcome to come along and support participants along various parts of the course and at the start/finish area.
