My first race in battersea park and I was really impressed. Great being able to turn up only 10mins before the start. And some good snacks and drinks at the end

I was amazed by how fast everyone was! But still totally fine jogging round at my own pace and it was great to have an ice cream at the end!

nice and flat course doing 4 loops around Battersea park. A great excuse to get up and do something active on a Saturday morning!

Really great way to start the weekend. Amazed by how fast everyone was - lots of club runner! - but a really flat easy course and a lovely cup of tea waiting for me at the finish line

This was my 4th 10K Race and so a very exciting day for me. I followed the race day instructions and met the organisers at check-in and they were all very friendly. Felling a little nervous about the race it was very nice to be greeted by Shankara and given my race number. I realised looking around there were some serious runners here and this was going to be fast. This was my first time running with mostly club runners. During the race, the Sri Chinmoy Team cheered us on as well as spectators making the experience feel awesome! At the end of the race, some of the runners came up to me to say well done and tell me how much they enjoyed themselves that morning. I can't recommend this enough as everyone now has had the best start to Saturday morning possible!

A lovely Saturday morning stroll around Battersea Park. A simple race with low frills but the perfect opportunity for anyone in the market for a 10k pb - the course is the definition of "fast and flat"! Well organised with water, hot drinks and snacks, and a good buzz amongst athletes and spectators.
