Your organiser

The Race Organiser creates outstanding opportunities for people to bring out their best run, swim or cycle performance.

We seek out the most inspiring and rewarding locations, develop race routes and event formats, and create a brilliant atmosphere and race day experience – offered at the best possible value. We don’t think it’s ok to ask people who are aspiring to do amazing things to pay huge sums of money, so we charge as little as we can afford, rather than as much as we can get away with.

Route description
Route description

The course takes place on closed roads between Maidenhead and Cookham. The race will start and finish in Maidenhead town centre, where runners can expect huge levels of support.

This is an overwhelmingly flat course and definitely one to target for your half marathon PB. With runners completing two laps of the course, it is the perfect chance for family and friends to see you run.

On the positive side, if you are looking for a fast flat course for a first half or a PB attempt this is perfect. However, it is two laps, which is not to everyone's taste and not very scenic, a shame given that Maidenhead is on the river Thames. Organisation is generally good, although there were major problems with the bag drop this year. Water stations are also not as efficient as they should be.

On the whole well organised, bag collection could have been better logistically thought out. Parking good , number collection quick and run , water stations all good

This is a fast course with PB potential. It is well organised, with a handy bag drop and somewhere to hang out inside pre-race. The course itself is two loops but gives a decent balance of town and countryside. It's well supported in the town.
