The route is undulating (hilly!) with 1650 feet of ascent incorporating a mix of hard-packed rocky trails, boggy sections, limestone rocks and grassy tracks. Fell running or trail running shoes are essential.

Get full directionsOn arrival at Kirkby Malham turn right (opposite Victoria Pub), sign posted “Hanlith”. After 50 metres, turn left into “Event parking” field.
