Get running this winter in the 1st ever Mapledurham Half & 10k. Follow this flat, multi-terrain course with the scenery making it well worth the work. With a dog-friendly 10k on offer as well, a finisher's medal, and picturesque scenery, this event is sure to deliver.

Mapledurham Half & 10K routes

Taking place in the beautiful surroundings of Mapledurham Estate, just a few minutes from Reading, the course starts near the Country Park. Winding through estate trails, local roads, woodlands, and footpaths runners will be taken past the famous water wheel and legendary site from 'The Eagle Has Landed'.

In this mostly-flat, multi-terrain run, the scenery is well worth the hard work.

The Canicross 10k is an event for all dog-lovers. Bring your pup along on your run with you. This event will start separately to the main field.

The Half-Marathon will have 2 water stations on route.

The 10k and Canicross 10k will have 1 water station on route.

Raceday Logistics

There will be no on-site registration on the day in an effort to minimise contact and ensure COVID-19 regulations.

Please arrive in your kit, with your race number pinned on, and bring your own water bottle.

09:45 Canicross 10k Start

10:00 Half Marathon and 10k Start

Start times will be staggered to ensure smaller groups set off.

You will receive more information about this in your race pack closer to the event.

Race packs including race instructions should be received by the Tuesday prior to the race.

Kit List

Please arrive in your kit, with your race number pinned on, and bring your own water bottle.

If you travel by car please leave you kit in your car while you are racing. If you come a different way, a place to store your belongings can be found.

Who do I contact if I have any questions before race day?
Please email [email protected] no later than the Wednesday prior to race day. Emails received later than this may go unanswered due to the proximity of the event.
Are there any age requirements to enter the Mapledurham Half & 10k?
Yes, participants must be 16 and over to enter the 10k events and 18 and over to enter the half-marathon.
When will I receive my race pack for the Mapledurham Half & 10k?
Race packs should be received by the Tuesday before the race, and race instructions will be emailed out also.
Is there a bag drop at the Mapledurham Half & 10k?
There will be no official bag drop for this event but if you need help finding somewhere to store your items during the race you will be helped. Bags will be left at their own risk.
What time is the start?
Start times are listed as 9:45am for the Canicross 10k, and 10:00am for the 10k and Half Marathon. You will be sent more race instructions prior to race day, but please only arrive at the start line for your race 10 minutes before.
