In Memory of Steve Bush
For those who were at the 2022 event will recall the awfully sad incident at about mile 26 when Steve Bush collapsed, suffered a cardiac arrest and despite the best efforts from runners, paramedics and the staff at William Harvey Hospital after being airlifted out of Samphire Hoe he passed away a couple of weeks later.
To remember Steve SVN are going to start the 2023 event about 300 yards from base camp where he collapsed, there will be a minute's applause and then you can all run/jog/walk back to the finish to earn the badge....and then you will start off the event as usual.

You'll visit the aid station after every 3.28 mile lap. This will be fully stocked by the event organiser but you are welcome to leave your own on the table for runner's supplies.
On-site Facilities
There will be toilets available from 07:00 by the car park close to the start/finish area.
Headphones and Earphones
