Welcome to MARATHON HEBRIDES! The only running event going the full 26.2 miles in the Hebrides, Scotland.We have chosen the stunning Isle of Harris as our host Island for many reasons. Its dramatic landscape, tropical waters and golden sandy beaches make it the most desirable location in the country for our maiden event.The route takes you from the fishing village of Leverburgh on the south west of the island, past the beautiful fifteenth century St Clement's Church at Rodel. From there we head to the village of Finsbay on the east side, then loop back through the wild, rugged volcanic landscape back to Leverburgh. The final 11 miles hug the stunning coastline of West Harris which boasts some of the world’s best and most talked about beaches.

What's included
At the finish you will receive your finisher’s medal and goody bag (if included in the race package you signed up for). There will be a shuttle bus service running from the finish line back to Talla Na Marra where the post-race buffet and refreshments will be served.

Get full directionsThere is absolutely no parking at the race start line so please use the shuttle bus service we are providing. A baggage bus will be at the start line for any belongings you may need at the finish (please attach baggage label provided in you race pack).
Event day logistics
Registration will take place on Friday 9th August from 5 to 8pm at our 'Event Hub' Talla Na Mara, Isle of Harris. Here you will receive your race pack which includes you race number, pins & baggage label. Under no circumstances will we give out race packs to anyone except the person registered for the event. Photo identification is required at registration. Please note that there will be no registration on race day, ALL race pack are to be collected on Friday 9th August.
The race will start at 10am.
Runners will be bussed from the finish at Seilebost Machair to the start line. The last bus will leave Seilebost machair 9am
