The route takes you through Market Drayton and is described as mostly flat but undulating in places. There's a short steep hill at around the 5.5 mile point. "Best UK 10k in 2012, 2013, 2014 & 2015 as well as Best UK Race 2014 (Runners World)". And as with previous years the best goody bag locally for a 10k!

Our course is an officially measured 10K and holds a UKA Certificate confirming its accuracy.

There is a £50 bonus prize for any runner breaking the course record of 30 minutes 39 seconds set by Chris Davies in 2013.

The map provided is the MD10k 2017 course, a copy of which will be included in our race brochure which will be delivered with your race number.

If the weather is exceptionally warm on race day we have logistics in place for an additional water station on the course.

Great event well organised, well supported and of course the weather was spot on. My advice would be to get hill training into your routine to cope with the finish.
