Loved this event - so well organised and such a nice, fun crowd. The short distance was good, it was my first race with our cocker spaniel and the route was good, not too crowded and beautiful scenery in the South Downs. Loved the Days Beers at the end and a great quality medal, even one for the dogs 😂 The race village bit was cool and had a good vibe with music, pizza, bacon butty and coffee stalls which was v good for spectators as well as runners. I couldn't recommend Maverick more highly 🙌🏼 Can't wait for the next one, already booked onto Cotswolds in July ⭐️

Everything about Maverick events is amazing apart from the start of the race. It would be so much better with a staggered start and I thought it was crazy to put dogs at the back when they are going to overtake everyone.Other then that everything else about the event was awesome

Second run of the series - thanks for turning on the sunshine :) Such an awesome run. Great volunteers from beginning to end. Lovely course. So love that your runs are hound friendly. It was the puppies first race and he (well his humans anyway) loved that he got a medal and a puppy treat at the end. We’re already planning to do another two races this year … thank you so much for a wonderful family morning out.

Sure will come back for more. Really good race. i used a great Adidas shoes for free in this race as they were offering for the participants to try. it was scary to change the shoes at last minute but it was a good choice. and that's the best way to try shoe before buy. thanks everyone involved.

Great route, nice and muddy. Well organised and I loved that loads of the freebies included items suitable for vegans. I loved the fruit at the aid station - really welcomed and I was particularly impressed with the free photos which were extremely high quality and better than the usual ones you usually have to pay for!

Really enjoyed the Hampshire trail event yesterday. I ran the long course and it was just stunning - the entire way!! There were beautiful views, gorgeous wooded areas, quaint villages and houses, wildlife - absolutely perfect!! Everyone working on the event are so friendly and you can tell they’re loving being there too and it’s not just a job for them! If I could get there and was available, I’d run in every single Maverick event!! Have now completed three and am looking to see what I can book in next!
