Chaos in the first half mile as the canicross runners from the back were running through everyone along a narrow lane. Witnessed 2 or 3 near misses where people with dogs on long leads were weaving in and out of runners (some with more than 1 dog) & getting tangled up. Great course, signage, fuel stations etc though. Loved it once the pack had thinned out & the canicross hazards had dispersed.

Fantastic race for which organisers should be congratulated. Future participants should be encouraged more strongly to close gates as per the briefings and not let their dogs monopolise the feed stations to ensure maximum enjoyment for everyone.

My first ever trail and the furthest distance I've ever done. Absolutely loved this as my first trail event, well organised and route was signposted really well. Marshalls are all friendly and really supportive.

It was a very well organised event with lots of sponsor booths and freebies to try out. Great vibe for the set off and the finish line.! Well directed course, very friendly and kind volunteers battling the rain and great support amongst runners to get to the finish line. I would definitely book something again!

Only issue was the course taking first 3-4 miles uphill. Ended up just walking most of the first half rather than running.

Course was great, just a few road sections which were possibly a bit longer than I preferred but I understand it's not always possible to cut across each field. Fuel stations well stocked and excellent sign posting.

I love your races this is the 3rd I have done. First half of long course had a bit too much road and would have liked finish line photos but that is a small point and overall a fantastic event, like the giveaways at the end thank you
