The West Sussex course is perhaps Maverick's hilliest routes, yet equally one of its most picturesque. The race will take you over the surrounding hills, through the peaceful valleys before encountering the traditional busy hamlets of Sussex.
The short route has an ascension of 300m during the 8K trail, making it one of the steepest short trails on offer. Equally the medium and long courses offer up a significant challenge that will keep participants interested at all points.
There will be course marshals on hand throughout to sufficiently guide you through your respective races.

Maverick Race is undoubtedly one of the best trail running organisers in the UK. The company was started down on the Jurassic Coast back in 2013 by Ben and Justin. Since then they’ve delivered events which are guaranteed to take you to some of the most scenic locations in the UK. However, what really separates Maverick is their strive for inclusivity in the outdoors. From 6km entry level runs to 50km ultra marathons, there really is something for everyone. Afterwards you’ll find everyone hanging around, enjoying some fresh pizza, and speaking to like minded people with a shared passion for trail running.
Spectators are integral to creating a great race day atmosphere.
Feel free to come along with those participating and experience the spectacular surroundings for yourself before cheering the runners over the finish line.
