Maverick Race
Maverick Race is undoubtedly one of the best trail running organisers in the UK. The company was started down on the Jurassic Coast back in 2013 by Ben and Justin. Since then they’ve delivered events which are guaranteed to take you to some of the most scenic locations in the UK. However, what really separates Maverick is their strive for inclusivity in the outdoors. From 6km entry level runs to 50km ultra marathons, there really is something for everyone. Afterwards you’ll find everyone hanging around, enjoying some fresh pizza, and speaking to like minded people with a shared passion for trail running.

Another brilliant trail running event by Maverick Race. Well signed throughout the whole course, every road crossing was marshalled and the outposts were all well stocked. Maverick went above and beyond to keep us all hydrated due to the hot weather by placing additional water stations out on course. The post event village was amazing, with beer, coffee, cake and pizza for us all. The friendly atmosphere was more like hanging out with running friends as opposed to a race. The Maverick race atmosphere is like nothing you would get at any other running event.

A beautiful and scenic course, really challenging with some tough long hills. If your looking for something to push yourself then this is the event for you. It’s brilliantly organised with knowledgeable and friendly staff throughout from signup right through to the after event service. A brilliant day out.
