Stretch your legs this May Day with a 10k run in and around Abbey Fields in Kenilworth. This is an event for every runner of all abilities and ages with a Family Fun Run, School Challenge and the option to run the 10k as a relay team of 3. Come for the community atmosphere and finisher's medal.

Route information
All races will be taking place at Abbey Fields in Kenilworth on the park's paths and tracks. The start and finish area will be between the tennis courts and Bridge Street.
The 10k will take 3 laps of the park.
10k Relay
The 10k relay race consists of 3 runners all completing 1 lap of around 2 miles.
Fun Run and School Challenge
The 1 mile route takes a smaller loop around the lake and over the fields, finishing downhill and over the wooden footbridge over Finham Brook.

Age Requirements
- 10k runners must be aged 17 or older
- 10k relay runners must be aged 11 or older
- School Challenge runners must be in school years 5 or 6
- The Family Fun Run is open to runners of all ages
Registration
Registration and the start/ finish area will be located next to the Bridge Street car park.
10k Relay Team
You can run the 10k as part of a team of 3, each taking on 1 of the 3 laps that make up the 10k route. Be sure to select the Relay option at checkout when you sign up.

To run the 10k on your ow, runners will need to be aged 17 and over. To run the 10k as part of a relay team, runners will need to be aged 11 and over.
Do I have to be a serious runner to take part in the Mayday 10k?
Not at all, this is a great event for runners of all abilities and ages to get involved with. For those not quite up to the 10k, there's the option to run it as part of a relay or just take part in the 1 mile Family Fun Run.
Who is the School Challenge race for at the Mayday 10k?
The School Challenge race is for children in school years 5 and/or 6.
