About
This race is a 6 hour timed event that runs along the beautiful old Meon Valley Railway line. Providing you complete just one of the 3.3mile laps you'll qualify for the medal and then you can carry on doing further laps for as long as you wish with lots of people targeting 10k, half marathon, marathon, and ultra distance. Then again you're very welcome to do something in between it is completely up to you! This really is an awesome event for anyone who's keen to try a new distance and doesn't want the pressure of a set length course. It can also be a chance to fit into your training block and practicing all of your race day routine without having to find something the right distance for your training schedule.Just to really fit in with the Star Wars Theme there is then another event a day later called Revenge of the Fifth so if you want a full weekend of George Lucas inspired running then why not do the double!

Route information
Set on what was the old railway line from Fareham to East Meon, now known as the Meon Valley Trail, we can use this track with kind permission from Hampshire County Council and Wickham Parish Council.
As this is a timed event in the spring, please dress for all weather possibilities. If we are lucky then the course is normally awash with Bluebells alongside the track.
The course is a good surface, so road shoes will probably be ok, but it will be down to you on the day to make your shoe choice.

FAQs
Can I run with my dog?
Sorry dogs are not allowed to run with you in the event. Our events are insured via UK Athletics, who recently banned dogs running with entrants. Can I leave my own food &
drink at the aid station?
Yes of course you can. Some runners like to have their own special sports drinks and energy gels or bars during events and these can be left at the aid station. We recommend you place them in a container clearly labelled with your name and we are not able to take responsibility for left items. One lap will get you the medal. We cater for all speeds, and for all distances. So whether you want to push yourself to your first 10km, or to your 100th marathon, all your needs will be looked after.
