Welcome to the Midsomer Triathlon, the Event is held at Midsomer Sports Centre, Midsomer Norton near Bath. BA3 2SY, formerly known as South Wansdyke Sports Centre. The venue is family friendly with a great skate park and playground, cafe and terrace. The Triathlon is run under British Triathlon Federation rules and Race Permit. It is organised by Midsomer Tri, a group of local Triathletes wanting to bring a Triathlon to the area following in the footsteps of the much loved old Wansdyke Triathlon. We positively encourage all abilities and age groups to take part and we regularly have competitors aged over 70 racing.
First timers are very welcome and we're available to answer any questions to help prepare for the race. It's also a challenging course suitable for competitive Triathletes.
