Located in the Silverdale and Arnside Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty this undulating 18 mile route is eminently runnable and is a perfect introduction to distance trail running or walking.
It doesn't have any major climbs, but this 18 mile circular route does include hills, coastal paths and varied trails, taking in many of the local attractions... including Arnside Tower, Fairy Steps, Arnside Knott and Dallam Deer Park. This route incorporates many of the same sections of trail as Silverdale Circuit, but are done in reverse so it works as a standalone event or in addition to the existing route... it's incredible how different it feels by going the other way!
