Neil McCover Memorial Half Marathon

This friendly, club organised half marathon is open to runners aged 18 years and over and will be held on roads in and around Kirkintilloch. The route includes Milton of Campsie, Lennoxtown, and Torrance and Lenzie. The course is challenging with some undulations but also has recorded some very fast times and allowed many runners to set personal best times. The event is held on public roads and with the support of Police Scotland and East Dunbartonshrie Council enables the runners to be able to run safely through the scenic countryside and towns of the area. Please note that runners should aim to complete the course in under 2.5 hours; marshals may be withdrawn after that time. The race starts a 9 am on Sunday 7 October with registration at Kirkintilloch Leisure Centre close to the town centre. Changing facilities are available from 7.30am.
