The New Forest Marathon is a great event! Beautiful location, ideal for taking a tent and making a weekend of it. Much better in my opinion than a city marathon. I ran it in 2019 and hope to do it again 2022 back in its old location.

This has to be the best half marathon course I have run, would like to do the marathon. The getting to the venue would put me off going again, although I probably will. I stayed overnight close by to get there early and would rather have driven down on the day.

Fantastic event marred slightly by stalls not taking credit cards and traffic problems. Would recommend for all abilities.

I can’t fault this event. This was my first half marathon and I wanted a memorable place and I certainly got that! The organisation was incredible- faultless and the atmosphere was superb. From the volunteers, the organisers the runners ourselves and the crowds. E retune was so lovely, friendly, helpful and wow the stunning router was just divine. There were plenty of water stops and directions were clear. They put funny signs up to spur us on and I just loved it all. A day to remember and I would definitely recommend this.
