Race HQ for 2019 is at Farnham Leisure Centre, Dogflud Way, Farnham, GU9 7UD. This has been changed from our previous HQ at St. Polycarps Primary School to give us more space. It is an 8 minute walk from Farnham station and 10 minutes from the School so there are no changes to accomodation recommendations. The race itself starts at the trail head of the North Downs Way. Runners will commence the 5 minutes walk down to the race start following the race briefing as we have in the past.
The race finish is in the fields behind Knockholt Pound Village Hall. The site is easily accessible by car/ on foot. Supporters should park at Coolings Garden Centre and walk the 5 minutes to the field to see the finish. A return bus service will depart at the conclusion of the event to take 50 mile finishers back to the start point/ Farnham Station at the end of the race. If you wish to take the shuttle, you can purchase a ticket during registration, or return back to your registration to purchase one at any time after. The nearest rail station to the finish itself is Knockholt Station which is a significant walk of around 2.5 miles from the finish.
