You'll pass another monument at Hawkesbury Upton and run through the remains of an impressive iron age fort. From here the trail begins to flow downhill, passing the old village of Tormarton and then skirting the Dyrham Park estate.
The final stage of the run has you on the skyline of Bath, running past the battlefields of Lansdown and the racecourse, continuing our descent into Bath, running past the spectacular Royal Crescent and the curious Circus.
From here it’s one final, small push as you head down Bath’s main street and find yourself at the foot of Bath Abbey - marking the completion of the epic Cotswold Way!

Why are groups kept so small?
By splitting the group will allow everyone to move more fluidly, allowing all team members to run at their own comfortable pace, without feeling pressured.
What will the trails be like?
The terrain is undulating and includes some steep up hill sections which you walk, as well as some shorter, steeper down hill sections at times.
Will the route be marked?
The journey will be hosted by two-qualified running guides, although as the group is likely to spread out over short sections we will be making every effort to way-mark the route.
