Earlier notice or warning prior to shutting long route down would be useful

We enjoyed a really good day out, thanks for all your effort to put on a good day. I was quite sorry to see that there weren't a lot more participants - for your sake, more than ours. We did the Short ride, as our group contained some cyclists who needed that. The route was very well signed. A big thumbs-up for that! Our feed station wasn't world-beating, but it was 'adequate'... shop-bought provisions such as snack sausages and pork pies weren't great. The bakewell tarts were hit pretty hard though! But - and I accept that this will seem pedantic to many, and perhaps to you as organisers - I was dismayed by the quality of the writing and grammar in your emails, and also on your website with regard to our ride. But today I went looking for other events I might sign up to, and found that all of your rides are badly written. Before our event, it actually made me apprehensive about the ride - because if you don't care about writing accurately, what else might you not take care of...? But you did a good job on the practicalities, thanks! However, I really do think that, if you want to present yourself as a professional outfit, then your writing needs to match your ambition, your passion and your ability. I really don't believe your written materials represent you well, at all. I'm a pedant? Perhaps. Does this stuff really matter? Absolutely!I'm now a 'Beyond' convert, I really enjoyed my experience yesterday. And I'd love to help, by proof-reading and offering you a re-write of all your written materials. If this is interesting to you at all, please call me - 07787 289388. Cheers, Jeff Sutheran

Decided to go for the long route, it wasn't explained at the briefing at the start line either! Also I wasn't included in any result table... no refreshments at the event. I've been on a lot better organised events, a lot to learn I'm afraid

I was done to do the 100 mile route. It was cut short, no mention of thus in the pre ride brief. No mention a out cut off times. I finish with my friend same time, he'd done on the long route but I've been put on the medium route. Not happy the course was shortened.

Food stop way to early.... 22km in a 60km ride. The cake and coffee bit didn't open until 1030am, way later then we arrived. No photographer as advertised. Didn't feel like a sportive, just a social ride with signposts. Food vendor at the end nonexistent. Just felt very amateurish and poorly organised. Kind of left wondering what we got for £40 other than a medal and a bidon.Course was great, but as local could do this any weekend free of charge.

Tough course with lots of hills, which made it challenging but real sense of accomplishment when completed.Very well signposted throughout. Feed stations were good with decent variety on offer. The number of people competing was not large compared to other events and the atmosphere suffered as a result.Good day out.

Because there were 3 routes, hardly saw anyone on our short route, so really no atmosphere.Feed station people were very friendly. But we also eeded to stop and take on food at Haydon Bridge before last climb . Really didn't get a lot for the cost of ride. A coffee / food at end would have been goodV well sign posted, easy to follow, which was good as no marshals.
