Good course offering accessible outdoor location away from road and buildings. Unless I missed only thing felt lacking was some sort of sign when arriving on bridge entrance to canal path to indicate to go right for start of course,

I thought the course was good and manageable. It wasn’t clear enough that the cafe toilets weren’t cleared for use - we were told we could use them begrudgingly by the staff and there were big queues as there was only one toilet. If the race grows, you will need to invest in portaloos or get the rec building to open. I don’t think the communications I had didn’t say where the start line was. Good that we got a medal and chocolate bar too! Thanks for getting this started, I hope you’re able to get more entrants in the future as it could be a great race!

Enjoyed the race. Just a pity there were only 35 competitors but it’s a new event so everything has to start somewhere. Thank you to the organisers.
