Did the race in 2019
Dreadful organisation. I arrived 35 minutes before the start to huge queues for the car park. There was clearly inadequate planning for a second car park if the first one couldn't be used due to the weather. (It's been one of the wettest Novembers on record - they should have taken this into account.) I was eventually directed to 'another car park' by a guy in a high viz - there were no signs to this second car park. No further signs or stewards down the main road to direct anyone. I ended up on a potholed road that needed a Land Rover to drive through it properly. I turned back twice and was told not to park in a car park that looked adequate, but to go to a car park 'further down.' Again, nothing marked. Second time I turned round, I was finally directed onto a road that took me half a mile to a car park. By this time it was 25 minutes after the race had been due to start. There was no one in the car park to direct me and it was clear that the race had already started. I went back to the hi viz guys at the car park entrance and asked them where was I supposed to go once in the car park. One of them held his left arm out and said, 'you turn right along the lake when you get to the car park.' I said, 'Do you mean left?' He replied, 'Err... Yeah. Left.' At that point I gave up. Useless. Never doing a Time2Run event again.

Course was exactly as described, 4 laps around the water, the organisation was poor I am afraid, collecting numbers was difficult and slow, they ran out of the baguettes that were meant for all finishers and no T shirt with the race pack. Very expensive as no need for road closures and finish bag was poor, so not sure what the money was spent on? Its a shame due to the layout there was only crowd on a small stand near start line so felt a very lonely course.

I enjoyed this event, I know many people dont like laps as it can be boring, but it has its advantages as you nearly always have company, And easier to pace yourself, the only complaint the car park at 5 pound is a bit much, I managed to pay at reception, but was frustrated at the car park as a debit card was wanted to park as a runner I dont take my cards with me.

Great organisation! Yes the course is a little dull BUT there were toilets every mile, a well stocked feed station with water, electrolytes and food every lap and the course was flat. Perfect for me as a first timer

Im glad I picked my number on the Saturday to save so much walking before the race - however some of it cant be avoided due to the venue. Maybe one more music station would be good. All information provided was good and accurate. This is out of your control - the car park is a bit of a state and badly needs resurfacing! However parking was only 2 - definitely get the app beforehand - saves any messing about on the day! Great Marshalls!
