The Oldbury 10 miler is now open and is the 3rd event hosted by Thornbury Running Club numbers to be collected on the day from Oldbury power station (BS35 1RQ) . We have staged it 2 weeks before the Bristol half marathon to give you an ideal pre half training run and please be advised the race sold out last yearThe accurately measured course is on quiet figure of 8 on the outskirts of Thornbury where you will be well looked after by Thornbury Running Club’s friendly and encouraging marshals.

Route information
The course is 2-mile clockwise loop, then a 6-mile anti-clockwise loop, plus 1 mile out and back, along quiet country lanes just a few miles from Thornbury.
This is a fast flat road race and we’re doing what we can to help you to put down a fast time with chip timing. It starts and finishes at Oldbury Power Station.

What's included
The Teams will be handled slightly differently this year. There is no discount for team entries and there is no need to formally enter as a team. Instead, the results will be based on runners representing the same running club. The first four men or three women, from a particular club, to cross the line will be picked out and awarded the respective prizes.
