Welcome to "Ørsted Great Grimsby 10k. What an amazing day in 2018! 4000 entries, 450 volunteers, 28 degrees sunshine, loads of money raised for local community groups and charities. This is a really popular race in the calendar and is expected to fill up fast. You will finish in a spectacular Victorian Park to be welcomed by thousands of spectators.The race is inclusive and we encourage entries from all runners, irrespective of their ability. Route information
The 10km course itself is flat, on wide tarmac roads(with the exception of the last 100m which is on grass), which should make it suitable for athletes in wheelchairs.
What's included
Super T-shirt and medal for all finishers.
We are bound by Run Britain rulings which state the minimum age for the 10km race is 15 years.

There are plenty of parking spaces close to the start/finish area.
Public Transport
There is plenty of public transport accessing Grimsby  Town centre (buses, trains and taxis), only a short distance away from the race start.
Grimsby Town Hall has a disabled access situated on the left hand side and at the rear of the building the same access which is used for the Councils Archives Department, and this is signed on the entrance.  Access is gained via an intercom just inside the entrance hall which is connected to the Town Hall reception desk, who can remotely open the door, this gives direct access to the ground floor or the lift to the first floor.  The first floor disabled toilets are situated directly down the corridor to the left as you exit the lift.  Ground floor access is via a corridor to the left hand side as you come through the disabled entrance signposted “Reception” a stair lift will be available so that the ground floor disabled toilets can be accessed which are situated to the right of the main staircase.
When exiting the building there is a push button to automatically open the door.
