Overload Run routes

THE COURSE

OVERLOAD is an obstacle and mud run which you can run on your own or as part of a team.

We have a overload UKOCR trophy Race wave with prizes for 1 st, 2nd and 3rd male and female past the post. This wave will be for the runners who like to go as fast as the can and complete every obstacle thrown at them

And we have our Open waves which are more fun waves where the emphasis is on challenging yourself, moving out of your comfort zone and feeling that sense of accomplishment when you cross the finish line.

OVERLOAD is simply what it says, OVERLOADED with obstacles. You will encounter terrain that will push you to your limits and mud that will suck you in, water to wade through and carries to test you, and we expect them all done with a smile on your face and not to forget over 80% of obstacles can be seen by spectators

Following the super fast racers we offer all other runners a chance to run the same course as fast or as slow as you want, join your friends, run with the family or run alone everyone is welcome to run, each lap will be around 5-6km long and you can run more than one lap at no extra cost.

LOOPS

1 loop is do-able so long as you can run or walk a parkrun - however will your mental state let you get over, under or through some of our obstacles

2 loops are our race distance - take your time and enjoy it with friends or race it and feel the burn

3 loops - This is where it starts to get serious, that's 120 obstacles and 15k minimum

4 loops - Only 3 people to date have managed this in the 3-hour time limit

5 loop - No one has been brave enough to even attempt it - can you

MEDICAL AID

There will be first aiders and medical team on the day. Marshalls will be posted around the course. If you do become injured please make your way to the medical tent for help, if you are unable to make your way to the medical tent then please raise the alarm with the nearest marshal who will seek help for you. OVERLOAD strives to prevent injury and ensure that all obstacles are safe yet challenging.
