Sprint Triathlon - Swim 300m, Bike 22.5k, Run 5k
Classic Triathlon - Swim 750m, Bike 38.5k, Run 10k
This epic triathlon event starts with a pool swim, followed by an undulating bike route around the surrounding area. This will then be followed an undulating tarmac run, which will primarily be within the grounds of the school. There will be aid stations along the run course. Please not the transition is on grass and approximately 500m. Further details regarding each stage will be shared in the information pack that will be sent to competitors in the lead up to the event.

Get full directionsThere is free parking on site from 05:00, but this is limited so please lift share where possible. The sports centre is marked on Bradford Road and there will be signage to direct you towards the parking.

Age Requirements
All competitors must be ages 16 or older on the day of the event.
Registration
All competitors must attend registration, located in the Sports Hall. Here, you will be issued with your race number, helmet number, bib number, race licence, timing chip, good bag and 1x raffle ticket. If you are a BTF member, you must produce your BTF licence at registration.
Aid Stations
There are no aid stations on the bike courses. There is a water station just after T2 on the run route. Competitors in the Classic Tri will pass this twice.
Relay Teams
You are welcome to enter as an individual or relay team. Relay teams can be made up of 2 or 3 people. Please note that if you are entering as a team of 2, one person cannot do consecutive disciplines - i.e they cannot do swim, bike or bike, run - they would have to do swim, run. The team will have one timing chip, which must be passed onto the next competitor and worn on the left ankle.
FAQs
How old must I be to enter the Oxley Triathlon?
All competitors must be aged 16 or older in order to take part.
Will I be sent my race number in advance for the Oxley Triathlon?
Competitors will be sent an information pack in advance, but nothing else. Race numbers and chip timers will be handed out at registration on the day of the event.
Can I enter as a team at the Oxley Triathlon?
Yes! Relay teams of 2 or 3 are very welcome to join.
