I really enjoyed this race route across the beautiful coastline at Padstow, the event was very well organised ( clear signposts for the course route and well marshalled. I was very impressed with the clear and concise introduction at the start of the race which was also warm and friendly! There were also plenty of portaloos which meant the wait for the loo wasn't very long which I think is very important when you are getting ready for a race.

I can see this becoming a really popular event. Challenging course but such spectacular scenery.

Amazing views - tough run (10km). Great feeling on the finish line. Bravo to the half marathon runners (and the Cani’s) Top event 👏👏👏

Spoke to organiser already. Was running in first position around 30 seconds ahead of second place and probably a further 15 seconds ahead of third then at second water station had unclear instructions from Marshall so I followed the arrows and found myself on the half marathon route. At the time I didn't question it because the route posted on the event website went through the Crugmeer so i thought it must be correct. Spent around 2-3 mins with Marshall's working out where I was, managed to get back to the start at just over 10km to find I finished 3rd. Still happy with result and I don't want to take anything away from the guy that won, but feels like a massive shame to have it taken away from me (would have been my first ever race win). Team offered refund and free event which is great.

Really enjoyed the race. Really well organised. It was a shame that a lot of racers were throwing their plastic bottles in the hedge as opposed to carrying their empties.

There are 2 things that I would like to suggest for you next events if I may. I was there with my dog along with many others and I felt that the music especially on the starting line was far too loud for our 4 legged friends. Also I had the support of my family with two young boys, some of the music being played contained bad language and was quite explicit.Apart from this I was very pleased with how the event went.Thank you.
