Route information
The swim will start from the beach 50 meters to the East of the Palace Pier and finish on the beach in front of Paddle Village on Hove Lawns, Kingsway. There will be both wetsuit and non-wetsuit categories (decide on the day!) for both males and females.

The check-in and start point for the 2.5km swim is on the beach in front of the Brighton Zip on Madeira Drive (BN2 1TB), which is approximately 50m to the east of Brighton Palace Pier. All swimmers will need to present themselves to the check-in before their swim to confirm attendance and to complete the essential course and safety briefings.
5:30am: Check-in opens
6:30am: Check-in closes
6:45am: Briefing starts
7:00am: Swim starts
The safety briefing will be on the beach in the start pen. Please be ready to swim at this time, wetsuits on (if you're using one), all equipment stowed and ready to get in the water.
