Route information
This event has something for every level of runner, offering a range of options and the flexibility to run whatever distance you want. From 5k to 10k, half to marathon to ultra, you can complete as many, or as few, laps as you like in the 7 hours of a 5.3k (3.28 mile) out-and-back, course along the beautiful river Thames. The course is primarily towpath and is very flat, making it an easy course for those taking on a new distance.
As long as you complete at least one lap of the course then you are considered a finisher and winner, and will be rewarded with a finisher's medal.

The nearest train station is Walton-on-Thames station, which has regular services to London Waterloo, Woking and Basingstoke. From the station, the start of the race can be accessed by catching the 564 bus, stopping at the Xcel Leisure Centre.
