You'll be running a 12.5ish mile route on Salisbury Plain and the surrounding Warminster. It will be undulating and scenic but also cold, desolate, windy, and even snowy so be sure to keep moving and look out for the tanks.

Parking is available at Imber Avenue, Warminster, BA12 0DD. Please consider car sharing and be courteous to other competitors and local residents.
Event day logistics
09:45 Registration opens
10:45 Registration closes
11:00 Race starts
14:00 Cut-off time
Registration will be open from 09:45 to 10:45 for you to collect your race number.
There will be a short briefing before the race for your safety. Please listen to and follow marshal instructions.
You must be aged 16 or over on race day to compete in the Plain Crazy.
You can run with your dogs providing they are on a short-controlled lead.
Buggies are permitted if they meet the criteria of a fixed front wheel, suspension, race cover, clothes suitable for the weather, some food and drink and preferable but not necessary, a brake.
You may not run with headphones. If you do you may be disqualified.
There will be a 3 hour cut-off time for finishing the race. This is due to potential winter conditions.
On Site Facilities
There will be 3 water stations only the route. Toilets will be available. There will be refreshments to purchase.
How old do I have to be to participate in Plain Crazy?
You'll need to be 16 on race day to take this challenge on.
Can I run with headphones for the Plain Crazy event?
Please do not bring your headphones on this course as they are not allowed and might even get you disqualified.
Will I be able to stop for water on the Plain Crazy course?
Yes you will. There will be 3 water stations on this course.
Great but tough race, with some nasty hills and exposed to the elements up on The plain. Well organised and super marshalls
