Did the Day 1- Half Marathon in 2018
The course is an out and back route along the beautiful Plym Valley Trail, surrounded by trees and woodland. There are drink/snack stations at about 3 miles and at the halfway point, then again at the 10 mile point (10miles is the same location as the 3 mile point due to the out and back route). There are also drinks and snacks at the finish line. The organisation is super and the medals from each race in the series join together by interlocking. All finishers also receive a goody bag with post race snacks and water.Davey who organises the race is very personable and an experienced runner himself.Although the course can feel a bit monotonous, it is a beautiful route and there is a great community atmosphere created by the race directors and runners.… read more

Route description
Route description

The course is a quick 0.8 mile 'out and back' in Clearbrook village followed by a 12.31 miles 'out-and-back' run on the well-signposted Cycle Route 27 which will be well marshalled.

Toilets and refreshment stations will be situated at the Race HQ near the Start/Finish Line and at the Turnaround point at Coypool.

Another refreshment station will be manned at Bickleigh Barracks which is situated approximately halfway between Clearbrook and the turnaround point at Coypool and you must display your official running number at all times.

If you follow the Cycle Route 27 signs then you cant go wrong, but we will Marshall the crossings.
