Thank you. Event was well organised up to the point of collecting t-shirts, some confusion on the Saturday beforehand.
Too much plastic and non-recyclable waste from the event. Letter said powder at the end so I held onto mine. Some Volunteers were too enthusiastic with colour powder. Too much in the face, inhaled, swallowed and into eyes even with glasses on. More signs needed for after event activities. The coffee stall lost a lot of custom.A

This was a great event. My eight year old, husband and I had a great time. The course was easy to follow and nice scenery. We even hung around afterwards, lunched at the cafe (cash only) and had a walk along the river - although I got a few funny looks at my blue face!B

It was a fun day with a family friendly atmosphere and some incredibly nice volunteers! however the parking area was not supervised and we paid for parking, yet even getting there early there were very very few parking spaces left. They did not control people going in from the exit.
We ran as a group of 4 however they did not have a number for me. It appeared to be one of the numbers they’d lost. This was disappointing as it was my first race and I would have appreciated that. Right before run time, I went back to the tent and witnessed other people just grabbing the bags off the table. This was also not policed very well. However I spoke to someone and they gave me a number.
When the race started it took me about 10 minutes to get going - as I was a “runner” they should have organised the runners taking off first and those walking in the back.
Lastly, I understand you can’t block the path off to the public, but again would try to police it a bit better. As it was just a straight path (which according to my tracker was only 4.4K) members of the public on their bikes were still able to use it. This did cause a bit of a squeeze at times due to it being narrow in nature.
The paint/chalk throws at each 1k was fun! But if the volunteers could not aim for the face. I ended up becoming unwell from the amount I inhaled.
Realise this is a bit of a moan, but the medals were incredibly cool! The distribution of them was organised well by having it at a stand at the end away from the finish line. And it was really family friendly.
I would definitely recommend that every single participant should get 1 bag of chalk for the beginning mass “release” and the photo.S

Amazing day for a great course, received emails on a regular basis to give information for the event! Car parking was a little tight and struggled to find a space but otherwise the event was fantasticE

This was such a fun day, you can walk or run or jog at your own pace it’s definitely not a race! You want to take as much time passing the colour stations and get as messy as possible! Don’t forget a cheap pair of sunglasses to keep your eyes protected from the dust of the colour. I will happily attend next year and it’s friendly to everyone of every ability, family not for dogs!E

Brilliant event, will definitely attend the next one! Was so much fun.
Parking was a bit of an issue, no reserved spaces despite paying for one. Also the pre ordered t-shirts were not very organised and had to get the wrong size as they didn’t have enough. However! This was sorted out quickly and appropriately by the organisers. And very happy with how they dealt with this.
Fantastic event recommend to everyone!
