Thank you. Event was well organised up to the point of collecting t-shirts, some confusion on the Saturday beforehand.
Too much plastic and non-recyclable waste from the event. Letter said powder at the end so I held onto mine. Some Volunteers were too enthusiastic with colour powder. Too much in the face, inhaled, swallowed and into eyes even with glasses on. More signs needed for after event activities. The coffee stall lost a lot of custom.… read more

This was a great event. My eight year old, husband and I had a great time. The course was easy to follow and nice scenery. We even hung around afterwards, lunched at the cafe (cash only) and had a walk along the river - although I got a few funny looks at my blue face! … read more

It was a fun day with a family friendly atmosphere and some incredibly nice volunteers! however the parking area was not supervised and we paid for parking, yet even getting there early there were very very few parking spaces left. They did not control people going in from the exit.
We ran as a group of 4 however they did not have a number for me. It appeared to be one of the numbers they’d lost. This was disappointing as it was my first race and I would have appreciated that. Right before run time, I went back to the tent and witnessed other people just grabbing the bags off the table. This was also not policed very well. However I spoke to someone and they gave me a number.
When the race started it took me about 10 minutes to get going - as I was a “runner” they should have organised the runners taking off first and those walking in the back.
Lastly, I understand you can’t block the path off to the public, but again would try to police it a bit better. As it was just a straight path (which according to my tracker was only 4.4K) members of the public on their bikes were still able to use it. This did cause a bit of a squeeze at times due to it being narrow in nature.
The paint/chalk throws at each 1k was fun! But if the volunteers could not aim for the face. I ended up becoming unwell from the amount I inhaled.
Realise this is a bit of a moan, but the medals were incredibly cool! The distribution of them was organised well by having it at a stand at the end away from the finish line. And it was really family friendly.
I would definitely recommend that every single participant should get 1 bag of chalk for the beginning mass “release” and the photo. … read more

This was such a fun day, you can walk or run or jog at your own pace it’s definitely not a race! You want to take as much time passing the colour stations and get as messy as possible! Don’t forget a cheap pair of sunglasses to keep your eyes protected from the dust of the colour. I will happily attend next year and it’s friendly to everyone of every ability, family not for dogs!

Brilliant event, will definitely attend the next one! Was so much fun.
Parking was a bit of an issue, no reserved spaces despite paying for one. Also the pre ordered t-shirts were not very organised and had to get the wrong size as they didn’t have enough.

However! This was sorted out quickly and appropriately by the organisers. And very happy with how they dealt with this.

Fantastic event recommend to everyone!

I enjoyed the event but felt the course wasn’t great. It wasn’t 5km for a start. And it effected the general public too much as was a tow path. It needed more volunteers throwing the powder. No emergency contact details were taken. These should have been on the back of our race numbers otherwise there was no point in having them as it wasn’t a chipped race. We were advised to not bring anything with us so we left phones and money etc in the car. But would could have brought these with us and had we have done we would have spent on donating to the charity and buying food etc. Would love to do the race again as I thoroughly enjoyed it but there is a lot of tweaking to be done.

The course was short of 5k, so deceptive for PB. Need to provide timing. Course would be better not crossing Walton Lane - go up to Walton Marina for extra loop/distance under arches. More publicity for contribution to Rainbow Trust - Mayor to present cheque !

Organisation was not the best. Packs not ready, parking not honoured, not enough volunteers along the course directing the way. When I finished I posted myself at the toilet area to direct other runners as there seemed to be some confusion here. H&S wise, no emergency contact details/medical information sheet on back of race number. Not good for solo runners, of which there were a few.

It wasn’t the best course and it wasn’t 5km. Felt it was fun for us but not the general public trying to use the tow path.
No emergency details were taken should there be an accident. These should have been on the back of the race number otherwise we didn’t need a number. It wasn’t a chipped race. Also needed more volunteers throwing the coloured powder. We were advised not to bring anything with us to the race because of getting powder in phones etc. So consequently I had no money on me to pay for things. I didn’t realise that there were going to be things there to buy or collections for the rainbow charity. I know for next time. I would love to do the race again. It just needs some fine tuning

What a day!! I had so much fun not only during the race, where the marshals were amazing but also before and after the race!!
The event was very well organised and everyone was very helpful. There was plenty to do with many stalls to explore after the run.
I was worried that the powder would be tough to get out of my clothes and wash off but it came off with no problem at all. I definitely think next time I will buy more packets of colour to look even more the part. Would definitely go again, can't wait for next year.
Highly recommend for a fun day out!!

For a first year pretty good, nice friendly colour run that isn't just laps around a field, our family really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and I think with more runners in 2020 this could be one of the best across the country!! Well done on asking for negative feedback after the event as well not many organisers do that! :)

My family and i had a great time and my young daughter in particular loved it and found her competitive spirit as well. For the first event we didnt really have any major issues organisation wise and from our perspective went smoothly. A really good local event and would love to see it back next year. We had a team of 25 from Heathside School PTA. We had a great time and want to make this a regular annual event and involve more people next year. It would be really good to be able to record personal times especially for the 'podium places'. My sons and I were curious to see in what time we managed to run the 5k.
Keep the faith and thanks for a lovely event.
We had a fab time doing the colour run. Running by The Thames was beautiful. My hubby marshalled and loved it.

My daughters and I really
Enjoyed the run today, and would like
To come back again next year.
There were teething problems, to be expected with any new event. The main one identified by a relative who was spectating, was the marshals near the road where we had to cross the road to get to the field, did not seem To know what they were supposed to be doing, and traffic control there was an issue to start with.
Also, The queues for the finishers medals was long, and not very clear. The end was a bit of a muddle, and the finishers bags back on the field meant too many road crosses.
I hope you will choose to bring back the event, as it was an enjoyable morning.

Disappointed it wasn't 5k as advertised, but 4.45km (and that was starting my gps before the start line). Lots of paint on the way out, not much on the way back in. Friends struggled with the paint being thrown directly in their faces. Was a fun event but overshadowed by the fact we didn't do the distance.

I am excited to be taking part in the new Colour Me Krazy next July, it looks like a really exciting new Colour Run and it will definitely bring a big crowd to Weybridge! Along with the food, drink and family stalls I am looking forward to running a 5k that doesn't have the pressure of getting a fast time, I can just relax and have fun whilst enjoying completing my first 5k
