Route information
This course travels around the scenic and lively Willen Lake pathways, taking in grass and woodland areas. There is plenty of variety and beautiful views to look at as you make your way around the course.
All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. At the majority of venues, there will be a shortcut available at approximately 2km or 3km, which will lead back to the finish line. This will signposted on the day. If the shortcut is taken, it may mean missing out some of the obstacles, but we will make sure all children get to take part in the muddy slide at the end.
Obstacle layout and shortcut distances will vary from venue to venue. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.

Get full directionsThere will be free of charge parking provided within a 5 minute walk of the venue, please follow signs from Brickhill Street to the car park, then footpath signs will lead you to the event site. Pay and Display parking is also available at Willen Lake as usual.
