Introducing the Pride in London 10K – If you’re like us and can’t wait for Pride in London 2019, then you can start the celebration early and join us for the ultimate pre-parade warm up! Join Pride in London in Hyde Park on the 9th June for a race like no other. Not only will you get to explore the beautiful scenery of Hyde Park, but also run side by side with the LGBT+ community. This run is for everyone and we encourage participants of all abilities to join, whether you’re an avid runner or look to join in with friends and family, ultimately, it’s all about having fun!

The Race Organiser creates outstanding opportunities for people to bring out their best run, swim or cycle performance.

We seek out the most inspiring and rewarding locations, develop race routes and event formats, and create a brilliant atmosphere and race day experience – offered at the best possible value. We don’t think it’s ok to ask people who are aspiring to do amazing things to pay huge sums of money, so we charge as little as we can afford, rather than as much as we can get away with.

How to enter

What's included:

Bag Drop: Whilst we recommend bringing as little as possible, if you're planning to dress up, you can leave your belongings with us while you race using the tear-off baggage strip on your race number, collecting after you finish by presenting your race number.

Toilets: There are toilets opposite the Bandstand for use throughout the event that require a 20p coin.

Race Marshals: Marshals will be present on the course throughout the race.

Distance Markers: The route will be clearly indicated with arrows, tape and Km markers where necessary.

Water Stations: There will be a water station at the finish, also passed on the first lap, at which water will be provided in recyclable plastic cups.

Refreshments: Refreshments will be available to purchase at the Serpentine Bar & Kitchen throughout the event.

Changing/Showers: There are no changing rooms or showers at this event.

Lost Property: Lost property from an event will be kept for one month. If unclaimed, or ownership cannot be determined, lost property items will be donated to charity.

Route description

The course consists of 2 laps on mostly tarmac pathway, there are some parts with gravel that can be loose underfoot, and is suitable for runners of all abilities. Please always be vigilant of other runners, spectators, dogs, cyclists and other users of public footpaths and rights of way.

Registration: From 08:30 to 09:15.

When: Sunday 9 June 2019 at 09:30.

Spectators

Spectators can watch from anywhere on the course and will see runners pass twice wherever they are situated.

Hyde Park is open from 5:00 am until midnight all year round.

Getting to Hyde Park -
Hyde Park is highly accessible by public transport. There are also car parking facilities available but we recommend that visitors avoid coming by car as there are limited places.

If you are using a mobile device, the postcode for the park is W2 2UH, but note this is for guidance only as the park covers a large area.
