Prudential RideLondon - Surrey 19, 46, 100 routes


The Surrey 100 kicks off from at 0545 in QE Olympic Park. Cyclists will then make their way through London on traffic-free closes roads before continuing down into the picturesque Surrey countryside.

As a route inspired by the London 2012 Olympic Road Race, this is sure to provide a tough challenge and there will be a number of climbs during the cycle. Nevertheless, this event is open to cyclists of all abilities.


The 46 mile race will track the same route as the 100 miler for the initial 27 miles. At this point, riders will veer off for two miles before rejoining for the last 17 miles back through London.

The 46 begins in waves at 0900, right after the final wave of the 100 mile event.


The 19 mile ride begins in Sandown Park, Surrey. It will follow the final 19 miles of the 100 route, taking riders up through SW London and for the grand finale finish on The Mall directly outside of Buckingham Palace.

This event is open to all riders above the age of 12 and is free for those between the ages of 12 - 15.

Please be advised that riders in the 19 mile race will be notified of their start times by early July.

All 100 mile and 46 mile participants must register and collect their race packs prior to the day of the event from the Prudential RideLondon Cycling Show: ExCel, 1 Western Gateway, Royal Victoria Dock, London E16 1XL.

Kit List

All cyclists must provide their own bike in good working order.

Helmets are mandatory.

E-bikes are permitted.


This is a truly fantastic event for spectators with crowd numbers reaching up to 150,000 in previous years.

It is recommended that if you have friends or family competing that you download the Prudential RideLondon app which will allow you to track the riders and find the best vantage point.


With a team of over 2,000 volunteers, Prudential RideLondon relies on this team of immense support to make their event the great spectacle which it is.

How do I enter this event?
Due to the immense popularity of this race, event places are drawn from a random ballot. If you are unsuccessful in the ballot then it is recommended that you look into charity places.
Can I wear fancy dress while cycling?
It is strictly prohibited to wear anything which may impeded on your hearing or vision, for example masks.
Can I ride with my friends?
In the 46 mile and 19 mile event you will be able to choose your start wave and ride alongside friends. However, due to the number of riders in the 100 mile race, cyclists will be given start times.
