Route information
The 20k route begins at the Orange Tree in Baldock, a traditional country inn in the heart of Hertfordshire, where you'll be treated to a hot breakfast of bacon rolls and coffee before heading out on your adventure. Taking walkers off the beaten track and into the unexplored lanes and tracks of Hertfordshire, there will be regular rest breaks, complete with drinks, snacks and dog treats for any canine companions.
After completing a circular route that highlights the best of the county's countryside, walkers will return to the Orange Tree for a traditional lunch washed down with ale inside the cosy interior of the pub, or outside in its garden.
