QE Olympic Park 10K - September route

This is a lapped course, with athletes completing 3 laps. Underfoot, runners will speed along the tarmac and hard gravel paths within the park. The looped nature of the route allows participants to fully engage in their surroundings and appreciate the iconic venues which surround them.

The route will take runners right around the circumference of Olympic Stadium, before offering views of the Lee Valley VeloPark - where team GB enjoyed such success - and the unique ArcelorMittal Orbit.

Please always be vigilant of other runners, spectators, dogs, cyclists and other users of public footpaths and rights of way.

Pacers: Race Pacers will not be offered at this race.

Course Marshals: Marshals will be on hand throughout the duration of the race.

Distance Markers: The course will have clear distance markers throughout.

Refreshment Stations: Water stations are provided after the completion of each lap.

Schedule:

0830 - 0915
: Registration
0930: Race starts

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the race time in order to ensure a smooth registration process. Race numbers will be collected on the day.

Spectators

Spectators can enjoy the race from various vantage points around the course and the looped nature of the route will allow supporters to catch numerous glimpses of the athletes.

Supporters are strongly encouraged to come along and re-create the epic atmosphere of London 2012.

Participants must be 15+ on the day of the event.
Can you sign up for the QE Olympic Park 10K on the day?
You can sign up on the day for a surcharge of £2. They only accept cash for on the day sign ups.
Where can I find results for the QE Olympic Park 10K?
Results will be uploaded to the official QE Olympic Park 10K website live. Timing printouts are also available at the event on the day.
Can I bring a Buggy/Pushchair?
This race is not open to runners with a buggy or pushchair.
Is this race suitable for wheelchair users?
This race is wheelchair friendly. You are likely to be asked to start the race 5 or 10 minutes ahead of the field, so please ensure you arrive in plenty of time.
Does this event have a time-limit?
There is no official time-limit. However, due to venue restrictions the start and finish area may need to be shut down after 1hr and 30mins.

    Great fun running in the Olympic Park and remembering the vibes from summer 2012!
    Atmosphere was fantastic: the marshalls were outstanding, encouraging us along the way.
    The venue is easy to find and the course mostly flat so great for a PB.

    Fantastic and well organised. Easy access to parking and all Marshall's were superb. Perfect pb course.

    Nice course, pretty flat and well kept surface. There was an attempt at atmosphere at the start/finish point but dead the rest of the way round so bring your own fan club or music if you need some motivation. Nice medal, and a t-shirt for £10 (cash only) if you want it. Chip timed and a print out of your time at the end which was good.

    First time i ran this 10k and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!! And to top it off i set a new PB!! Highly recommend this 10k

    This run in the Olympic park is absolutely amazing. The course, marshals and support around the course is awesome. Incredible views of the park, stadium and surrounding area. The medal was great too. Would definitely recommend.
