Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 10K - December route

This is a lapped course, with participants completing 3 laps across the tarmac and hard gravel paths within the park. This looped nature of the route allows participants to fully engage in their surroundings and appreciate the immensity of the games.

During the race, runners will have the opportunity to pass by London Olympic Stadium, the home of Mo Farah's heroics as well the Lee Valley VeloPark and the ArcelorMittal Orbit.

Please always be vigilant of other runners, spectators, dogs, cyclists and other users of public footpaths and rights of way.

Pacers: Pacers will not be offered at this race.

Course Marshals: Marshals will be on hand throughout the duration of the race.

Distance Markers: The course will be clearly marked throughout.

Refreshment Stations: Water stations are provided after completing each lap.

Schedule:

0830 - 0915
: Registration
0930: Race starts

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the race time in order to ensure a smooth registration process.

Spectators

Spectators can watch from anywhere on the course and the looped nature of the route will allow supporters to catch numerous glimpses of the athletes.

Given the Olympic surroundings, this is a fantastic event for supporters to regenerate the atmosphere of the 2012 Games.

    Race was really good. I like challenging courses and in parts its quiet hard. The 3 laps is a mental thing. Really enjoyed it and will be back in January to try beat my time.Could the T-shirt seller please stay but longer after the race as couldnt done him as wanted to purchase one.

    My 4th race here and a new track, good route but maybe a little too narrow at the end of the start straight where he entire pack of runners had to slow right down to almost walking pace, not ideal if anyone is wanting to grab a good time. Other than that small gripe - great organisation as usual - thank you!
