This vertical climb is part of a three-day-long festival at Keswick Mountain in the Lake District. There will be various other running events taking place, as well as plenty of family-friendly outdoor activities to enjoy.
Runners will start this race at Moot Hall in the Centre of Keswick and then head out to the Latrigg Car Park, this section will be ‘untimed’ to allow for road crossings.
Runners will begin being timed once at the Latrigg Car Park. Then begins the 8.8k vertical climb to the summit of Skiddaw.

Please note that there is parking available at the campsite and this is included in the ticket price.
Keswick Rugby Club is the official car park for this event, situated a short 5-minute walk to the Festival site. Parking for this car park is ticketed and must be booked in advance when booking your entry for this race. The opening times for this car park are as follows:
- Friday 20 May - 07:00-23:00
- Saturday 21 May - 06:30-23:00
- Sunday 22 May - 05:00-17:00
There is also a Pay & Display car park available adjacent to the Festival Site and the Theatre.
