Route information
The Wirral 10K course takes a scenic route through Birkenhead Park. Featuring predominantly flat footpaths, it gives some stunning views of the picturesque park. The 10K route is a double lap of the 5K course.
This course is suitable for wheelchair users with assistance.

Get full directionsThere is no official Race for Life parking so please use the surrounding area and on-street parking. The nearest station is Birkenhead Park train station, which is less than a 5 minute walk from the venue.
Event day logistics
The meeting point is on the Night Pasture, just off Park Drive. Following Park Drive from the main entrance off Ashville Road, continue past the Visitor Centre. After a 5 minute walk, the Night Pasture is on your right.

Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support you. There will also be some extra activities and items to buy so please remember to bring some spare change.
