Route information
The Blackburn route follows a scenic, circular route around the park and the terrain is mainly grass. This popular evening race offers an amazing atmosphere as spectators line the final section of the route to cheer participants back in.
This course has been deemed not suitable for wheelchair users
How to get there

Get full directionsParking is available at Witton Country Park car park. There is a small fee of 50p for 2 hours, this is pay and display. There is other parking for Race for Life, please follow the signage to the car park on the day.
A regular bus service is available from Blackburn town centre to Witton Park: the number 152 on the Burnley-Blackburn-Preston route and the number 118 on the Blackburn – Leyland route.
Event day logistics
The meeting point is on the Showfield at Witton Country Park.
Spectator Info
Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support you. There will also be some extra activities and items to buy so please remember to bring some spare change. The showfield also has an exciting playground for the children.
