The route begins by following the River Skerne, before crossing Parkside into the Meadows and then coming back into South Park by Squirrel Hill, the bandstand and the bowling green.

Get full directionshere is no parking available at South Park. Please use public transport, walk or cycle to the event. Darlington train station is a 15 minute walk from South Park and there are a number of bus services to the park. The Traveline North East website can help you plan your journey.
Event day logistics
The meeting point is the open grass area of South Park, in front of the pond. The entrance to the park on Parkside, next to the Lakeside Lodge provides easiest access to the start line.
