The Herne Bay route is mainly on sea wall paths and roads and is mostly flat, with some inclines. The route shows off the spectacular views along Herne Bay seafront, with the second half of the course running along the esplanade.
This event is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Get full directionsThere are road closures affecting Hampton Pier Avenue and Western Esplanade. The road closures will be in place by 10:30am, so please ensure you arrive within plenty of time.
Event day logistics
The start line is within Hampton Pier recreation ground. Please arrive 1 hour before the start time of your race.
