Route information
This iconic event takes on three stunning mountains - Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough - as runners have 7 hours and 21 minutes to complete the route.
The route starts and finishes at the Pen-Y-Ghent Café in Horton-in-Ribblesdale and takes runners around a tough 23+ mile course in the severe Yorkshire weather.
Theres no better feeling than beating the sun as you cross the finish line and best the sun, but be prepared for driving rain, high winds, snow, hail, and thick cloud. And if that was not energy sapping enough, there’s bogs, lots of bogs!
There will be check points on route that you must go to, but runners must be self-sufficient for the duration of the race.
