It's our aim to provide premier running events throughout Essex and the South East for all abilities. Between us, we have accumulated more years running than we like to count and participate in as many races as we think we can get away with (either to stay injury-free or just to keep the family harmony)! We think that this gives a really good idea about what makes for great running events and our aim is to provide awesome events with runners always at the heart of what we do. We also recognise the enormous benefits of running for general well-being and mental health and want to encourage participation at every ability and for any age. For this reason, we have set up a running group to operate within the Run Together initiative.
Spectators are definitely encouraged to get down and join in all the Christmas fun, it makes a world of difference the participants to have a crowd cheering them on.
Do I have to run for the full 6 hours at the Reindeer Run?
No, this event is about having fun and setting your own personal challenges so you can do as many or as few laps as you like.
Is the Reindeer Run a cupless event and do I have to bring my own cups?
Yes, this event is cupless and you are encouraged to bring your own cups/bottles to drink from to prevent any unnecessary damage to the environment. There will be cups to purchase at the event but there is a limited supply of them.
Is there parking at the Reindeer Run?
There will be some parking at the Booking Hall but it will be limited. It is possible to park on New Road, on the opposite side of the Flitch Way.
The thing that most stood out to me about this run was the support staff. They really were very supportive. Not just in a "Good job, you're nearly there" way, but in an extra caring and wanting to connect with you individually kind of way.
